» Can I take longer than 24 weeks?
The Course is designed to be self-paced. While it is recommended that students submit work on a regular basis, you actually have up to 12 months to complete the program.
» How do I communicate with my tutor?
Your tutor's role is to assess your assignments and provide you with personal online feedback. The Institute has a Student Support Department, where you can email at any time if you are experiencing problems, have questions or require assistance in any way. Student Support can forward on emails and assignments to the tutor on your behalf and send you any tutor responses as required.
» Do I have to attend any classes?
The course is done completely online. This means there are no classes to attend. All studies are completed from home. Assignments have to be submitted to the Institute online via the Secure Student Site.
» Do I need a background in stained glass?
Background, No. Passion, Yes. The course is designed to allow for students who have had little or no experience in the fields of stained glass. All levels of stained glass learning are covered, providing instruction for beginers and challenge to advanced artists as the course modules progress in difficulty.
» Are there any extra costs associated with the course?
Depending on what stained glass tools and supplies you currently have, there may be additional personal investment required. All supplies can be purchased at your local stained glass store or online. Descriptions and recommendations are shared by the Course Authors.
» How long are the assignments?
You will have open-ended and interactive assignments to submit to the Institute. These project based assignments are designed to give you practical experience and build your professional portfolio. Some are shorter than others but each one requires the development of ideas and skills.
» Do I need computer skills?
Only basic computer skills are required to complete the online photography course.
